R.M.A. Return Service ( Warranty Repair / Replacement )

All products sold by us at HA Motorsports include a 90 day warranty against any manufacturing defects. We happily honor this warranty as we feel 100% confident in our products to perform flawlessly as intended. However, upon the occasion that a product of ours does fail within 90 days of purchase due to any manufacturing defects, your product will need to be returned to us for inspection to determine the cause of the failure and inspection for repair or replacement.

What is covered under warranty:

* ECU board failure due to faulty components (ie: injector driver fails, CPU processor fails, specific ECU circuit does not operate as intended, etc)
* Product failure due to a manufacturing or assembly problem.

What is NOT covered:

* ECU failure due to improper vehicle wiring (ie: ECU component fries due to sensors being connected incorrectly, low resistance fuel injectors being used without a resistor box, ROM chip being installed backwards by user, customer attempts to modify ECU in ANY way other than intended, etc.)
* Product being used in any way other than the intended use.
* Rear "warranty void if removed" sticker on ECU has been removed or altered.
* Cosmetic variances from manufacturing (ie: ECU lid has variation in powder coat texture or color within acceptable limits)


How the warranty process works:

If you've determined that a product has failed due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us via email at sales@hamotorsports.com to review the symptoms you are experiencing to allow us to assist you with troubleshooting before shipping your product back to us for warranty. Many times, we can help you with your problem and determine what is being done incorrectly with the product. If after we discuss the issues you are experiencing we determine that your product may need warranty replacement or inspection we will instruct you how to return it to us. Please note that as of this article, we have a current warranty fail rate of .15% of our products. This means that the likelihood of your product being faulty is 3 in 2,000. We test EVERY ECU and ECU package components on our state-of-the-art ECU bench tester for complete proper operation before packaging and shipping to customers. Of this date, we have yet to have a customer receive a faulty ECU upon shipment, this is due to our extremely accurate and stringent test methods before shipping. That being said, if your product is returned to us due to the customer stating that it is faulty and we test the product and find it is NOT faulty, there will be a $25 service charge PLUS return shipping charges to cover administrative costs associated with testing and verifying proper operation of your product. This charge has been levied after the large number of customers sending in their products only to determine that they DO work correctly and that the issue was in the customer's vehicle having faulty wiring, etc. This is all to common with todays engine swaps, engine builds, etc. not being professionally installed, built, etc. PLEASE verify ALL wiring, etc. is correct BEFORE contacting us for warranty repair/replacement.
