The Moates 2Timer is a great tool used by anyone who needs multiple fuel or ignition maps on one chip. Good examples are those who run Nitrous, or typically run two different types of fuel. (I.E. Race Gas map vs. Pump Gas map)
How it works:
OBD1 Honda ROM's only require 256k of space on a chip. Using a 27SF512 chip, it is possible to program two separate ROM files onto one chip. The 2Timer allows each ROM file to be used independently by switching a ground lead on the 2Timer. We HIGHLY recommend using the BURN2 Programmer to properly address and program the 27SF512 chip for use with the 2Timer. 2Timer chip programming instructions
The 2Timer can be used with Crome/Crome Pro. Program/tune two different .bin files (one for pump gasoline, one for E85 for example). Burn one tune on one half of the chip, the other tune on the other half, then use the 2Timer to switch between tunes easily!
