Connecting to the Demon with Neptune
NOTE: You cannot connect to the Demon without first purchasing a Neptune Software License Key. The License Key is registered to your specific Demon's serial number.
Below is a photo of where your Demon's serial number should be located:
When purchasing a license key from us, please provide your Demon's serial number in the comments section at checkout. We will then register your Demon for the Neptune Software License Key and email you your new License Key. If you have purchased our Demon with Neptune License Key Combo, your License Key will be provided directly below where the Demon serial number is on the box.
How to Enter your Neptune License Key:
Within the Neptune Software, select EDIT > PREFERENCES as shown below:
The preferences menu will pop up. Select the SERIALS tab:
Click on the "+" box, double click the text "serial" and manually type in your FULL License Key. Double check that the entire license sequence is correctly entered, then click 'OK"
From there you can now connect to your Demon. Select EMULATOR > CONNECT > CONNECT USB as shown below:
NOTE: This configuration is for use with a USB cable as included with the Demon system. The Demon can also use a bluetooth (wireless) connection with the Demon Bluetooth Module (sold separately), however we will leave the instructions for bluetooth connection for a later article.
If you have properly connected your Demon and entered the correct license key, your screen will now show "emulator status - connected". You are now ready to use the Neptune RTP software with your Demon.
