What 02 sensor should I use for my k20z3 swap into 99 ek im getting check engine light for p1166 should I use like a stock?02 sensor or should I get like aem wideband
If using an ECU with Kpro, this is the correct sensor to use. The sensor that comes with the K20Z3 engine is not compatible with the 02-04 Kpro ECU's. The code P1166 is pointing towards the sensor's heater circuit. Make sure your air/fuel sensor relay is working and wired correctly. Typically this relay is wired into your conversion harness. If that is correct, then either you have the wrong sensor, or the sensor is bad.
