KTuner Flash-based system for 2016+ Civic 2.0. The KTuner Flash system allows you to reprogram/reflash your stock ECU directly over your OBD2 diagnostic port. No need to remove your ECU, etc. Simply plug the KTuner Flash system into your OBD2 port under your dash and reflash or tune your car using the KTuner software and your laptop.
Using the KTuner Flash system, you can retain all of your factory drivability, emissions, and reliability, while still being able to tune your engine for modifications (ie: intake, exhaust, cam upgrades, etc). The result will be a much better running engine with increased power!

KTuner is currently offering one research calibration that is included within the software, but with more to come in the future through software updates. The research calibration (Tune 1) can be ran with 87 octane fuel, but running 91+ will give the best results.

Overall the entire product is great. The software was pretty easy to find and download, connecting was also straight forward, pretty much plug and play with simple prompts and instructions. Once i had the tune uploaded, it was quick and simple to do, the car started right back up, i revved it a few times and the digital gauges showed things to be fine. I went to go get 92 octane as I was currently on 87, at about half and half there was a noticeable difference, but even on 87 it is ridiculously better. The tune makes the vtec hit earlier and harder which increases the fun, and makes the car utterly savage up to its new redline of 7k rpm. It does this in all gears, unlike before where you had to wait until third for vtec. Even better than any of that is what the reflash does for the powerband below 5, it makes the car punchy, where it was boring and linear. The response is great, coming from a traditional throttle cable, the electronic drive by wire throttle is awful, until the reflash. Now it is telepathic in the way it gives rpm, and acceleration. It revs quicker and with more ferocity than before, giving more reward for winding it to its 7k rpm redline, the speedo which is not a dial takes much larger jumps in speed than before, meaning you often realize you are carrying more speed by feeling that pull through the corner, rather than reading the speedo, it will do 90 in third, which is a great deal more than it will stock. The car actually pulls from a stop now, and the excellent response means it is much more sensitive to mid-corner adjustments, where before with its garbage adaptive throttle, it was rather guess and stab with the throttle trying to guess when it would kick into its better mode of response. Getting on the power mid-corner no longer prompts a dull trickle of rpm and maybe some forward movement, now its is a surge, it wants to kick rpmís down your throat, needless to say it is fantastic. But even in light of all of this, the single best thing about it, is the way it makes it feel like you have aftermarket parts you donít. i used to drive a well modified 2.0L four cylinder, it had all the bolt-ons, and some more serious internal mods as well. The rpmís would rise quickly and violently, culminating in a powerband that feels like the right side of the letter U. The reflash makes the stock motor in my civic feel like the motor with $10k worth of mods done. For a few hundred bucks, amazing.
