Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) measures the position of the throttle blade within the throttle body. The ECU uses this input to assist in determining the load on the engine and calculate fuel and timing requirements.
NOTE: The throttle position sensor at fully closed position should read .5 volts and at wide open throttle (WOT) should read 4.5 volts.
