Top Dead Center Sensor (TDC)

The Top Dead Center Sensor (TDC) detects when each piston is at top dead center. This is used by the ECU to determine ignition and fuel timing at startup when the crankshaft position sensor is unable to determine accurate crankshaft speeds.
