OBD1 ECU Solid-State Capacitor Kit
A better option for the problematic capacitors in OBD1 Honda/Acura ECU's is finally available. Developed by our friends at 'The ECU Guy', this capacitor upgrade kit allows you to replace the original electrolytic capacitors in your OBD1 ECU with new solid-state capacitors. Not only are these an electrical upgrade over the original electrolytic capacitors, but by going to solid-state caps you no longer have to worry about them leaking over time and damaging your ECU board! Kit contains everything needed for the conversion (other than soldering skills and equipment of course).
The kit contains all of the solid state capacitors required for the applicable ECU board revision, one voltage regulator, and one NF1 filter. Copper wire for adapting the original regulator heat strap is included while supplies are available.
Fits the common OBD1 '1720', '11F0', and '1980' ECU boards. ie: P06, P28, P72, etc.
Please be sure to follow the installation instructions carefully. Incorrect installation may damage your ECU.
